I searched through this journal to try and find something to copy here, but instead, the verse on the outside spoke more to me and to where we all are right now, in this season of unlearning and relearning, being honest about our own biases and prejudice, and beginning to run a marathon of justice & peace in our lives, for others’ lives.
“So let us not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time, we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.”
galatians 6.9-10 (the message)
Be on the lookout for a blog post with resources on doing good for the benefit of #blacklivesmatters. Because right now more than ever, working “for the benefit of all,” must begin with working for our Black brothers & sisters.
